Sulfa drugs are sulfa-related drugs which can cause sulfa drug reaction is some individual (Allergic)

List of Sulpha drugs:

Sulfamethoxazole-trimethoprim (Bactrim, Septra) and

Erythromycin-sulfisoxazole (Eryzole, Pediazole)

Glyburide (Diabeta, Glynase prestabs) used in Diabetes,

Sulfasalazine (Azulfidine), used in of rheumatoid arthritis, Crohn’s disease, and ulcerative colitis

Dapsone, used to treat dermatitis and some types of pneumonia

Sumatriptan (Imitrex), used to treat migraines

Celecoxib (Celebrex) an Anti-inflammatory drug.

Hydrochlorothiazide (Microzide) and Furosemide (Lasix) are Diuretics

 

 

Safe (alternative) drugs in Sulpha drug Allergic person:

HCQ (Hydroxychloroquine)

Cipro (ciprofloxacin)

Keflex (Cefalexin)

Augmentin (Amoxicillin/Clavulanate)
